1st Declension—Nouns their jobs

Behold! In week two, beginning 09/23, we will continue to work on the handout from last week. We are going to focus on declensions—how they work, how to memorize them, why they exist, what a noun is, et cetera. We will have a homework assignment for this next week, for which you will decline the nouns on your vocabulary list. We will work on this in class, and I will probably send out  an answer key. Also, if you our your parents have questions, the quickest way to reach me is via email, which is audrey.grissom@gmail.com.

BRING TO CLASS: 1st declension handout, your handwritten flashcards, and a pencil.

1st Declension—Pronunciation

Hi everyone, remember that your homework is to make flashcards for each vocabulary word on the handout. Please bring these to class along with your handout. Also, read over your handout out loud several times to practice pronouncing Latin words. I made the video below to help with pronunciation. I look forward to class on Thursday, when we will talk more about nouns and the various jobs they can do.
